Hack Happy

Haven't been doing much politics of late but since I've spent the last couple of weeks pissing myself about Murdoch's plight I thought I should pull the finger out.

So Rupe & Little Jimmy face the Select Committee tomorrow and it looks like Yates and Stephenson will be facing a IPCC investigation into corruption.

The Murdoch yesmen at the WSJ have published a halfwitted defence against their Master's amusing apocalypse. They're probably getting angsty about the impending US version. Spitzer is certainly keen to add his voice.

Baffling that the so called Chipping Norton set would include the boorish, fucktard Jeremy Clarkson. Anyways he's been spraffing off on the Xmas party where Camo was hanging with his News Corp overlords. DigitalSpy

Curious side story in the Guardian about a bag containing a laptop and notes found in a bin by the Police near Brooks' house but is apparently definitely NOT hers.

The NYT has a nice little tidbit about Murdoch giving Dacre the heads up.

The Libdems become ever more bold in their Murdoch bashing - they're desperate to claw back some support so I'm not surprised they're having fun. LC

Dangerous Minds have a nice clip of Dennis Potter sticking the boot into Rupe.

Lulzsec have been having fun - redirecting The Sun to a fake Murdoch dead story they've placed on The Times.

Apart from Hague there's been few Tories prepared to defend Cameron's choice of chums - Guido and others are taking note.

Tragically Sean Hoare the first whistleblower in the NOTW/Murdoch implosion has been found dead in his flat, Police say not suspicious but I doubt that'll stop the tinfoil hattery that's bound to ensue.

Political Profanity

So unfookingsurprisingly the Tories continue to reveal their indelible twatishness, there's too many examples but at a local level there's some quality cold heartedness in Westminster Council's recent decision to stop soup runs for the homeless, total coincidence it's Westminster, obviously one can't have one day spoiled by a glimpse of the poor or how about one of their more openly dickish councillors who thinks protesters are "retards" . But let's not forget Camo's moronic dreams for the Big Society and unfortunately for the this long glass of warm newspeak effluence isn't particularly by the retiring leader of the country's biggest volunteer organisation.

Shock horror! Jeremy Hunt pulled apart his/our cheeks for the Murdoch sausage and has given the Australian dickbag the all clear for his buyout of BSkyB. No offense Rupe but you're first on my daydream pyre. Guardian have a nice infographic about his empire.

Looks like Titchy Bercow's days as Speaker are running out fast.

The local rag has a bit about the drubbing the Libdem should expect in Scotland. Hope Clegg enjoys his time fagging for Dave.

Bosses at the Beeb must be feeling the squeeze from the Government and are being told to refer to the astonishing cuts as "savings". LC

Tee hee Dave's grandstanding calls for a no-fly zone over Libya gets a public smackdown from the Yanks and it looks like Hague's inept handling of the Libya evac has caused some Cabinet friction - hopefully the shape of things to come. PoliticsHome.

Love Wikileaks but I'm beginning to think Assange might be a bit of a prick. Ian Hislop's written in the Eye (not online) about a phone conversation he had with Julian where, apparently, Assange pulls a classic fox paw by "blaming it on the Jews"?!. Did he think just 'cause he rolled up with the world's press following him we'd go easy on him? duh. Needless to say there's plenty of spin flying through the tubes.

And from the same august periodical comes an amusing swipe at Bliar's connection to Hosni and the interesting financial circumstances of our former Prime Minister.

Anyways that's just the tip of our own floating shitberg but at least take comfort in the fact we aren't Americans. Here's a charming clip of people throwing crucifixes at the feet of a Muslim man while he's praying and another of a large crowd in Orange County shouting abuse at Islamic charity workers. Our idiot cousins keeping it classy.

The Dirty Game

New Wiki-cables detail how Kofi Annan tried to tempt batshit tyrant Mugabe into a sweet retirement deal apparently funded by Col. Gadafi.

The Bank of America have stopped processing Wikileaks payments too - probably nothing to do with the imminent wikileaks detailing corporate malfeasance.

DG of the BBC, Mark Thompson, thinks we should have a Fox News channel here in the UK. What a twat. Presumably this is some strategic arse licking of Jimmy Murdoch but even thinking it should get him the sack.

Some Tory fucktard wants us to embrace the chaos of decentralisation. Bet he's a rich bastard.

Assange is ticked off his chums at the Guardina ran the piece about his sex charges and but get his juice by walking off mid-interview with a ABC news reporter and calls him a tabloid schmuck.

Australia takes a stand against Israeli pressure and allows Hezbollah affiliated TV channel Al-Manar to be broadcast.

Julian's apparently in fear of his life so shacking up with an eccentric ex-soldier is probably a good idea but we should be thinking more about the source of the cables PFC Manning currently getting special treatment in a US prison and according to the Indy getting pressured to name Assange as a co-conspirator.

Michael Moore isn't too pleased with journos either and wades into the Cuba-banned-Sicko story

Stupid EU organisers projected random tweets from the public on a wall during a recent Brussels meeting - cue lots of fun at Berlusconi's expense.

Pugnacious mustachioed Bush-era hawk and massive prick John Bolton is considering running for Pres in 2012.

Charlie Brooker has an amusing little roundup of 2010.

All about Assange

I've already voted for Assange as Time magazine's man of the year award as he's provided me with much much amusement. If you're likewise inclined you can vote here and if you're a bit more tech minded why not help host a mirror site? or grab the Wiki Insurance file here.

He's certainly made himself quite unpopular with multiple DOS attacks on the main Wikileaks site & the French site has gone down oh and the not at all subtle sex charges raised by Sweden.

Australian Assange isn't too chuffed about his Prime Minister's kowtowing to America but he shouldn't be surprised our very own Posh Camo promised to be a pro-US PM. (What even more so than Tony?)

Halfwit Palin and co have decide Assange is a terrorist? surely a new nadir of hypocrisy. They've also told US government workers not to read the leaks.

Julian's lawyer appeared on Marr's Breakfast show this morning and according to the Guardian he thinks he's being watched.

They've also been picking up other members of Wikileaks

Amazon capitulated and stopped hosting one of the mirror sites and Paypal have closed their donation account - er I'm sure Julian's interweb chums will be in touch real soon - oh dear Anonymous are already marshalling their forces.

A Pakistani Judge offers some sanity by refusing to ban Wikileaks and it seems the Swiss are confident enough to give the finger to the US

Reporters Without Borders are also standing on the right side of the fence.

Odd ball political maverick Ron Paul wants even more Wikileaks - me too

Assange should be chuffed with the shitstorm that's whipped up but they've only released a fraction of the cables so far. Wonder what the UFO stuff is he's talking about?

Wikileaks pops a massive Stoma bag

Wikileaks have dropped a crap load of US diplomatic messages, the site itself is down due to a DNS attack but there's already a bucket loads of slurry sloshing about:

Putin and Berlusconi have a special relationship probably involving their wallets,

While Alan Duncan and William Hague's relationship was purely flatmate/chums,

Everyone wants a piece of Iran

Oh yeah the US is spying on the UN

and Afghanistan's VP was caught carrying 52 million in cash in the UAE

there's loads spilling out now so I should of probably waited a bit before writing this but anyways Wikileak's giant commitment to amusing us proles isn't the only news in town. It was definitely astute timing to have our humiliating "let's introduce a grocer/hoax Taliban commander to Karzai jape" aired just before the Assange evacuation but maybe the FBI have taken the same tack with an amusing onanistic tale of the Feds taking the glory for nicking a terrorist they themselves have been grooming, supporting etc in undercover ops.

Laughter in the Time of The CamClegg

Another amusing week in British politics with Lords Young and Flight stumbling into shitstorms - the former for suggesting everything is jolly lovely and the latter for er some classy remarks with the faintest whiff of eugenics.

It also appears that the Government are a little scared of the forthcoming Wikileaks infodump and according to Guido they've gone and got themselves a couple of D-Notices (DA-Notice 01: Military Operations, Plans & Capabilities and DA-Notice 05: United Kingdom Security & Intelligence Special Services ie all the good stuff. I'm so feeling our democracy right now but I'm sure the blessed internet will fill in the gaps.

The Police decide a recent protest is the right time for the horses to get some exercise?

Hahaha some dude conned our razor-sharp Intelligence Services into believing he was a Taliban Commander.

Wonky Westminster

Some Tory shitheel called on the nice Dateline London Muslim lady to be stoned to death on Twitter has now apologised. Update - he was arrested last night.

Students seemed to have had some fun yesterday at the Conservative HQ but Guido's put a grand up as a reward for naming the kid who threw the fire extinguisher. Whoever it was obviously needs a slap but there's no need for the wanted poster.

Another Tory Councillor is in a spot of tech-trouble after more than 1000 images of porn were found on his council laptop - "it wasn't me" is his defence.

While touting his written-in-crayon book has Dubya left himself open to being tried on war crimes? I do hope so.

TalkTalk and BT have forced a judicial review of the Digital Economy Act - the hasty, poorly thought through bill that was aimed at illegal filesharing.

PoliticsHome have cheered me up by polling politicos who they'd think would be Tory leader once Cameron has had enough. The result? Boris Johnson or George Osborne - hohoho what a choice - the creepy Baron or the pretends-to-be-dim Lothario. Surely anyone left of center could beat either of those two in a GE.

Blair is going to debate religion with an ailing Christopher Hitchens. Please Hitch just punch him in the cake hole a lot then ask for his forgiveness.

Blair, English bigots & Tory Woes

Hahaha massive bawbag Tony Blair is cancelling his next signing event, nothing at all to do with the shoes, bottles and eggs that were thrown at him in Dublin of course. I'm liking the reshelving protest too - nice and childish.

Fat faced goon Rod Liddle writes about Scotland like well the English prick he is. Seems he's not alone in his anti-Scottish sentiments - independence, whether good or bad, looms closer I think. Mind you Salmond has retreated on his referendum pledge presumably thinking a wait will allow the coalition stink to ferment a little longer.

Amusing troubles for our Tory masters these days, the NOTW/Coulson phone hacking shenanigans have resurfaced again after the detailed NYT piece and Willy Hague found himself on the receiving end of Guido's particular brand of shitraking. Not that Fawkes has been put off by the tut-tutting with a sneering post today and a pic of the twin bedroom Hague supposedly shared with his driver.

Usual Political Stoma Bag

As much as I dislike Guido's personal politics you've got to give him kudos for chasing down shit no matter what colour the stripe is and his digging into this story bout Willy Hague's hunky driver getting a FO job and sharing his hotel room is commendable.

Some American was offended by our condescending attitude towards the US and tries to explain why 1 in 5 'Mericans think Obama is a Muslim. Poor sod he's on a Sisyphean task what with Glenn Beck's mass huddle of idiots in DC at the weekend. Sure Beck's a cartoonish Mormon rabblerouser but he's effective, a pan piper for the unthinking, too harsh? well watch this clip from the Daily Dish and you might change your mind. I've seen the interviewer before on bits like this - he needs an award for keeping a straight face.

Seems like there's a campaign under way to get Colbert to repeat Beck's event at the Lincoln Memorial - after his triumphant performance at the Whitehouse Correspondents Dinner

Ahh Tony Blair, forked tongued warmonger, has finally released his bullshit memoirs and no doubt it'll derail Labour further. The leadership contenders should really think about putting the boot into Blair like they've done with Mandelson, after all it was his duplicity that lead them to defeat.

Troublesome Tories

While the rest of the 24hr news monster is chewing over Julian "I Enjoy Crushing Bastards" Assange's mega release it appears our newly revived Tory Overlords are coming a little unstuck.

First up is army toff Rory Stewart who referred to his constituents as yokels who hold their trousers up with string - how charming - he's now recanted somewhat.

Another former army idiot is Patrick Mercer, who according to Guido, is having a little problem with the wife probably due to his dalliance with another MP's secretary. Tsk Tsk

Boris Johnson seems to have problems with his zipper too.

David Davis indiscreetly referred to the marriage of the two parties as as a "Brokeback Coalition"
- apparently there's chatter about starting a Brokeback Club for those skeptical of the wedding but bad mimer John Redwood won't be joining.

And finally the Charity Comission has released it's unsurprising finding that stupid neo-con organisation Atlantic Bridge has been shown to be little more than a front for the usual tedious right-wing wrong thinking. I sure hope members Willy Hague and Liam Fox are upset.

ForeverWar spings a Leak

Assange has enlisted the New York Times, The Guardian and Der Spiegel in exposing 92,000 documents pertaining to our little jaunt back in to Afghanistan oh how I chuckle. Someone called VioletVerq posting on Gawker was kind enough to gather the links. I wonder what else Manning coughed up?

Oily grubby fingers & the usual 'tard politicians

Funny how I keep coming across this BP/Megrahi release story on US blogs but haven't heard much over here. So BP were angling for a good deal in Libya and might have asked for a favour from Gordo via Alex probably in exchange for actually paying a bit more tax or something else as tawdry. Yet another indicator that the Markets influence over western governments has become troublesome and needs some heavy pruning.

Mandy sure is whipping up some nice headlines with his newly published memoirs but none of it's particularly shocking, ohh Tony and Gordo hated each other duh. Moronic stuff from a egotist that's best ignored.

Tony might well be in a huff that Mandy beat him to publication, going so far to plead to King Fuckface himself Rupe Murdoch and actually being rebuffed hahaha twat, but he really should be concerned about the latest investigations into our complicity in torture, mmm Blair on trial at the Hague that'd be a refreshing sight but never gonna happen. Flaming Torch and Pitchfork have never been so tempting.

Some chump from the Institute of Community Cohesion is stating the obvious, that MP's live in a cosseted little bubble of demonic ambition twinned with inflated egos and a pack mentality. Well he phrases it differently.

The Rise of the Idiots

There's a funny/tragic/infuriating article on the Guradina site about two utter morons being appointed to Health Select Committee by our ConLib overlords. One is proud ignoramus Nadine Dorries, her of Humanzee fame and frequent spouter of abortion nonscience, the other is some guy called David Tredinnick who seems - astonishingly - to be just as thick as Dorries: his particular flavour of stupid involving asking taxpayers to pay £700 in expenses for software examining correlations between astrology and complimentary medicine citing as evidence the Moon's effect on the tides and from Hansard, Tredinnit during the alternative medicine debate

"In 2001 I raised in the House the influence of the moon, on the basis of the evidence then that at certain phases of the moon there are more accidents. Surgeons will not operate because blood clotting is not effective and the police have to put more people on the street."

So much for evidence based policy making then. Thanks Claggmeron.

Since the budget it's looking more and more likely that this magic coalition will collapse and personally I can't wait, the acrimonious blood letting will be marvellous to behold. If Clegg thinks his VAT u-turn stands well with Libdem voters he's delusional and it looks like the polls are beginning to show the result of their twisted little marriage. The usual excuses will be thrown out I'm sure but it'll lead catastrophe sooner than he thinks. The in-it-together budget itself is coming under increasing criticism too - Simon Hughes kicked off with some murmurings about tinkering with it, the IFS called it regressive and now we've got a Nobel prize winning economist calling it a crock of shit, my words not his. Oh happy days

Tin foil hattery

Gawker have an interesting article about this ongoing Pentagon-Wikileaks stramash - seems like Wired.com could've protected the now arrested Manning but decided against it (which isn't very nice) and now they're being all coy about releasing the log of their chat.

BoingBoing steps up to the plate though and releases a less edited version & my fav quote is ~ asked about the content of the cables, Manning replies....

"crazy, almost criminal political backdealings... the non-PR-versions of world events and crises... uhm... all kinds of stuff like everything from the buildup to the Iraq War during Powell, to what the actual content of "aid packages" is..."

So is all this talk of cables all a smokescreen so the Pentagon can trample on Wikileaks? or is there really a bumper crop of shit about to hit the fan ? I hope the latter.

In politics stupidity is not a handicap - Bonaparte

According to the idiot's paper, Daily Mail, we can expect a visit from empty headed Sarah Palin some time soon as she apparently wants a pic with her and the Thatchasaur. Cameron's lucked out though as he's not on her schedule.

And rich git Lord Ashcroft, Hague's deep pockets chum, is going to slam Cameron and his coterie for their limp election performance and half baked ideas. Via Liberal Conspiracy via NOTW

Clegg's also in the firing line with some Libs threatening trouble over the capital gains tax and generally cosying up to a bunch of dicks. Via Grinuarda

New polling shows only 48% think the Lib/Con thingy will last five years.

Guido is still chomping on poor old Gordo's cheeks - spreading a rather nasty rumours about Gordon being admitted to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

Drugs & Wars & Dipshits

Guido has a classic bit of Dennis Skinner - the ever amusing Beast of Bolsover - having a pop at George Osborne, as is his wont, thing is it's about a tawdry tale of vice girl & charlie & George! never heard this before - found a Mail article here and of course the photo in question, very shiny faced. Can't really think of another white powder you might chop into a line but who knows.

Sullivan's really digging in for war with his latest post questioning the very existence, the foundation of the state of Israel. It's a fair enough question in my opinion cause it's really all about a bunch of old books but I he's going to get a facefull of shitstorm.

Simon Jenkins, who's a bit bluergh has a nice idea - let's scrap the armed forces - I think the very least this ConLib thingy could do is offer up Trident as they're own personal sacrifice or a few overseas bases but no we have to have that big red button, shiny shiny red thing makes you want to push it.

Stupid BP has turned belligerent poor thinking Americans ire towards our own with this monstrous event in the Gulf but we can still laugh when some pervo who didn't even campaign wins a Senate primary and this dumbshit. Via Gawker Via Buzzfeed.

Westminster garbage and the tricky problem in Land of The Gods

Our political landscape really is changing what with the astonishing news this morning that Diane Abbott has chucked her hat in for the Labour leadership, jaw dropping then much laughter, no disrespect but I think she's only it to mess with the real candidates, I mean c'mon she's quite good with Portillo on that bald letch's show well apart from tonight's show had her flustered against pie-filled Digby Jones.

Jack Straw's kid, should learn his name, has a bit bout the Scottish Conservatives and their amusingly dismal performance at the election - apparently Tebbit-asaur reckons they should just give up! hazah! except he's mental so er oh well. Disagree with this idiot banging on about how we should stop hating the Tories, err no thanks I'm fine with it.

Not sure about these artistic protests of Israel, don't get me wrong I think it's waaay overdue the US get it's finger out but it won't - they're actually arguing about the right to criticise Israeli policy over on Huffpo, hilarious stuff.

Rise & hopefully imminent fall of the Libservatives

Urgh, just 24hrs from the merest glimpse of a radical shift towards a progressive majority it's all gone & now we have the madness of a Lib-Con coalition. I reckon we'll have another election in 18 months max - the chances of Clegg and Cameron keeping their parties in line longer than that I think is highly unlikely, especially once the Libs see the damage they've just inflicted on themselves and the Cons grow tired of having their hands tied. I'm not alone in my scepticism - Heffer in Torygraph and one of Sullivan's colleagues on the Atlantic.

Still Hungover

Kudos to Wonkette for posting this little gem bout pouting Davo's first encounter with Queenie while dressed as a rabbit - nice timing from the Mail, maybe it was Liam Fox ?

Andrew Sullivan lifts my spirits about the hopes of decimating the rapacious Tories from the country by the neat trick of making the country more democratic - such things dreams are made from.

Though Sullivan is aghast at the possibility of a more realistic representation of country's innate liberalism he's taking the situation better than fat faced Murdoch whore Adam Boulton, whose middle Engerland shtick has chafed at me for a while now so it's a joy to see he's creaking under the pressure while on two tv spots in 24hrs

Election prolapse

Parliament is hung. Poor rich boy Davo couldn't seal the deal, Clegg suffered from the fear of a Tory majority and Brown managed to keep his head above water just.

Plenty of little stories being missed as 24hr tv news goes into horse trading frenzy and we get to watch people go in and out of meetings.

My favourite titbit has to be the 14 year old socialist who donned a disguise to vote then, after being dobbed in by his teacher, refused to speak to The Sun! Said he was a Grinauda reader hahaha

Nick Griffin's racist party suffered a gubbing as did UKIP even though their leader tried a bit too hard to steal headlines on polling day. Other good news that Stroud - gotta prays those gay demons out - didn't get in and neither did Teeth Rantzen who lost her deposit and only one of the inbred Rees-Mogs got in

Ed Balls - lunatic old skool Labourite managed to keep his seat by a whisker which must really irk Guido and his chums.

This Prof has a nice take on Cameron's failed bid to secure a Tory majority.

Shame HIGNFY is lurching towards it's nadir but the Private Eye has still got some chompers; here's a charmless tale about The Sun - I blame Australians, he's their problem so they should really have "dealt" with him by now.

Looks like chuckler Alex Salmond has offered to help out in a Lib/Lab coalition if things don't work out between Dave and Nick.

No matter how much they fret over a deal over the next few days I still can't see either Cons or the Lib-D parties accepting any deal. I want electoral reform, it's time we mature a bit as country I think and Clegg has a once in a generation opportunity, stakes are high
